"Precision beats power and timing beats speed."
Those were Conor McGregor's words
after his brutal defeat of Jose Aldo to claim the UFC featherweight title.

It would discredit the sheer, hard work
The Notorious put in at Straight Blast Gym - with the likes of John Kavanagh, Owen Roddy and Tom Egan - in the weeks and months leading up to the fight, but Portal has had a sizeable impact on his game, and mentality.
You will have surely seen this video by now, but it shows the extent to which McGregor focused on his movement to gain an advantage.
And it certainly paid off.
Only a few seconds into the fight, McGregor swiftly evaded Aldo's reach to hammer the Brazilian on the jaw and take him down.
He knew exactly what he wanted to do and perfected the execution.
