WATCH: Bizarre ear injury leads to first round stoppage of Brandao v Hettes

Jimmy Hettes won't be listening to music on his headphones any time soon.

The UFC featherweight was on the receiving end of one of the more unusual TKO defeats in recent memory as doctors wouldn't allow him to answer the bell due to a cut ear. A Diego Brandao elbow caught the ear of Hettes which caused a massive gash along the calcified blood which forms what many know as cauliflower ear. The American was clearly unhappy with the doctor's decision as he took his aggression out on the octagon.
