But McGregor has revealed that a change of plans almost made him turn down the chance to coach Team Europe on the upcoming season of The Ultimate Fighter. "Jose should have showed up," McGregor said. "And it should be me coaching against Chad for the next fight. That was the original plan. "Then obviously with what happened, Jose pulled (out) and it threw the plans up into the air. They gave me Urijah as the coach and they won't let me fight him. "My energy was gone from it and I didn't want to do it. It did not mean anything to me but the more I think about it and seeing the fights to get into the house and just being around it, this is the life I have chosen. This is the life I have created.
