Come at the king, you best not miss.
Conor McGregor enjoyed a busy weekend following a media conference call ahead of UFC 202.
Asked if he was interested in making an appearance in the WWE, the Irish fighter was blunt in his response.
"For the most part, those WWE guys are pussies, to be honest," McGregor said.
Ouch.
Not one to mince words, The Notorious then doubled down on his criticism of WWE, calling
Brock Lesnar juiced to his eyeballs. (To his credit, he also called the McMahons and The Rock "dons".)
He capped it all off with this witty rejoinder on Sunday; just to make his feelings clear on WWE.

But it appears Conor's last barb was just one too many, and one by one WWE Superstars appear to remind McGregor that for all his big talk, going mic-for-mic with a WWE star is a little unwise...

WWE legend and two-time Olympic gold medallist Kurt Angle also offered up his two cents.

While Roman Reigns, at 6-foot-3 and 265 pounds (compared to McGregor at 5-foot-9 and 170 pounds), offered up this comparison.

Big E Langston, one third of WWE stable
The New Day was the kindest to McGregor with this backhanded compliment.

But the most scathing comment came from wrestling legend Ric Flair. The two time wrestling Hall of Famer's got straight to the point, calling out McGregor for copying his high talking, braggadocio persona.

Flair also argued that professional wrestlers like Dolph Ziggler and Brock Lesnar "could tie Conor in a knot."

McGregor takes on Diaz at the upcoming UFC 202, but after this back-and-forth, it's hard to see how the Dubliner can avoid combat with at least one of the WWE's Superstars.
Still, with UFC 202 airing the same weekend as WWE SummerSlam, it may just turn out to be a battle of the buy-rates.
