Being a front jackman in Formula One is a pretty crazy business at the best of times, and Romain Grosjean's had a bit of scare at today's Spanish Grand Prix.
The Lotus driver looked to have his pace right as he arrived for a pitstop but failed to stop before ploughing into the front jack and taking its holder clean out.
Remarkably, he retained control of the jack and Grosjean was able to complete the pitstop without further difficulty en route to an eighth place finish in Barcelona.

Further ahead, Nico Rosberg claimed his first win of the season as Mercedes continued their total dominance of the field, with world champion Lewis Hamilton overcoming a slow start to pass Sebastian Vettel and finish second, 17 seconds back. The Ferrari driver held on for third place.
German Rosberg now trails his team-mate Hamilton by 20 points after five races this season, with Vettel a further 11 points back.
