The legendary Irish scrum half is showing no signs of slowing down as his performances for Sale Sharks this season were recognised at an awards dinner on Tuesday night.
Stringer signed a one year deal with Sale last May and played a crucial role in their Premiership campaign, so much so that the 38-year-old was voted player of the season by the club's supporters.
The former Munster stalwart is enjoying much more success on the pitch than his former side, who only this week confirmed the appointment of Rassie Erasmus as Director of Rugby in an attempt to address the province's decline under Anthony Foley.
