However, AFP are reporting that the French national anti-doping organisation, Agence Française de Lutte contre le Dopage (AFLD), have summoned the three Racing players to a hearing.
The AFLD states that this is often standard procedure but also outline that they want to carry out their own investigation, considering the high levels of prednisolone found in the players' systems, according to French newspaper, Le Monde.
"This procedure is neither rare nor automatic," says Le Monde. "It does not presage a reversal of the decision of the FFR, but shows that these three controls above the norm require explanations."Previously, the club stated that the use of the drug was covered by the rules surrounding Therapeutic Use Exemptions (TUEs). According to the same report in Le Monde, there has been no date set for the hearing and Racing 92 did not comment or confirm the reports regarding the latest development in this story.
