Kearney has played just 410 minutes of rugby this season, the majority of which came at the beginning of this year's PRO 12.
Ankle and toe injuries have been the reason for this.
Last week he made a 20-minute cameo against Ospreys and at the Sportsground, he made his first start since injury - the perfect opportunity to win his wing spot back.
Cruelly, Kearney got his leg trapped in the tackle after 47 minutes and it looked like the winger suffered a serious ankle injury - again.
Fans were understandably gutted for him.
