Ireland looked like they would immediately make the advantage count when Hugo Keenan passed to Lowe out on the left wing. However, a smart bit of defence from Fickou saw the try call go upstairs to the TMO.
After multiple replays, the decision was made that Fickou had dragged Lowe's foot into touch just before he dotted down.
