Johnny Sexton has been ruled out of Ireland's Six Nations opener.
Ireland travel to Murrayfield to face Scotland on Saturday, but will do so without Sexton, who has been nursing a calf injury.
The fly-half didn't train today, after his calf tightened in training on Monday. He will miss the game in Edinburgh as a precaution and will be monitored over the next week.

Sexton picked-up the injury during Leinster's Champions Cup draw in Castres earlier this month.
No replacement has been called-up to Joe Schmidt's team.

It gets worse, Simon Easterby also revealed that Peter O'Mahony has been ruled out of this weekend's match after suffering a hamstring injury and is set to undergo a scan.
Andrew Trimble is also a doubt after picking up a knock and was limited to just running in today's training session.
