It was only a matter of time.
It's safe to say Eddie Jones' relationship with the Irish media is tetchy at best.
During last year's Six Nations championship, you might remember the whole furor over Jones' whiplash comments regarding Sexton and the famous remark relating to his parents and how they should be concerned for his welfare.
So in the build-up to Saturday's clash with England, there were a few barbs from Jones, mostly to do with the "kick and clap" style of rugby which Joe Schmidt's side employ, in the eyes of Jones that is.
So when Ireland ended England's Grand Slam and world record dreams, there was some level of surprise in the press area after the game because Jones was almost glowing in his admiration for the Irish performance.
Almost.

Jones has held a press conference today in the immediate aftermath of their Six Nations triumph and he couldn't resist belittling Ireland's achievement on Saturday.

"It was one day, mate."
This seems to suggest that Ireland's win was a once off.
It's a comment which being perfectly honest, is a bit unnecessary from the Australian.
But we have come to expect this sort of thing from the 57-year-old and in true Jones fashion, the ultimate aim is to restore the confidence in his players and take away any concerns surrounding their defeat in Dublin.
