National airlines of New Zealand and Australia place wager on outcome of Rugby World Cup final

When we're flying, we want absolutely zero banter to be taking place.

We want boring pilots, solely focused on their job of getting us from point A to point B, but we couldn't help but chuckle at the bit of craic had between the national airlines of New Zealand and Australia ahead of Saturday's Rugby World Cup final. Air New Zealand got the betting banter underway by suggesting a pretty off-the-wall wager which would see the airline of the losing country paint one of their planes in the national colours of the champions. https://twitter.com/FlyAirNZ/status/659840906753765378 Australia's Qantas came right back by seemingly accepting the offer.

The airlines then decided on a more realistic bet which would see the pilots and cabin crew of the losing country wear the jerseys of the victors on Monday.
