Paul O’Connell fans will love this Sky Sports pundit’s selected British & Irish Lions XV for 2017

Paul O'Connell's international retirement meant that he'd never get the chance to get his first victory over the All Blacks.

But Sky Sports' Scott Quinnell refuses to believe that's true. The former Wales' number eight was one of seven pundits to give his selected XV for the British & Irish Lions' tour of New Zealand in 2017. And Quinnell was the only man to believe that Paul O'Connell would be able to tog out one last time for the Lions. O'Connell made it clear earlier this week that he had no intention of playing for the Lions in two years time, having retired from the international set-up after tearing his hamstring at the Rugby World Cup.
