The Munster captain put in another solid starting effort as Ireland defeated Steve Borthwick's side to claim their fourth Grand Slam in Six Nations history, and their second in five years.
O'Mahony was steady around the pitch but much more effective in the down and dirty of defending, and staving off English attacks, than he was as a ball-carrying or set-play threat. He forged away for 55 minutes before Jack Conan provided some real bench impact in the Ireland victory.
Following the game, as the Ireland players celebrated their championship, Triple Crown and Six Nations success, ITV's coverage picked up O'Mahony getting into it with England forward Kyle Sinckler. From the brief pan of the camera, O'Mahony looked as those he was trying to settle the prop before raising his voice.

Not the first Peter O'Mahony clash with Sinckler
Peter O'Mahony was a British & Irish Lions teammate of Kyle Sinckler on the 2017 tour to New Zealand. The flanker was captain of the Lions for the First Test against the All Blacks.
Two years on from that, as Eddie Jones' England came to Dublin and cleaned Ireland's clock, the pair got into it on the sideline after a Sinckler shove.
Whatever words were exchanged, it was all left on the pitch.
Sinckler and his England teammates waited around to watch Ireland raise their trophies before making their way around the stadium to thank the travelling support and head off up the tunnel.
