Kevin Maggs began is Ireland career at outside centre but is best known as the hard-charging foil to Brian O'Driscoll. He played in two World cups and signed off, after 70 Test caps, with a try against Japan, in 2005.
Rob Henderson played on 32 times for Ireland but made a big impact during his time at No.12. The British & Irish Lions star merged well with O'Driscoll and memorably scored a hat-trick against Italy, in 2001.
Gordon D'Arcy flitted between inside and outside centre, in 2004, when he won Player of the Six Nations. Stepped inside to accommodate O'Driscoll and struck up Ireland's most successful midfield partnership. Still going strong at 35.
