What a beautiful sight.
Separated by the halfway line but united by a mutual respect for a legend of the game, the Maori All Blacks and Munster faced off ahead of kick-off in their clash on Friday night.
Visiting captain Ash Dixon and three teammates approached the white line and respectfully laid out a jersey with the initials of Anthony Foley, the legendary Munster number 8 who tragically passed away in Paris last month, emblazoned on the back.

After paying tribute to Foley, the Maori All Blacks then engaged in the ceremonial Haka at a sold out Thomond Park before the jersey was presented to Foley's two sons.

It was a truly beautiful touch and one that was not lost on a grateful Munster crowd ahead of a tightly contested game in Limerick.
