Richie McCaw became the first ever man to captain his nation to consecutive World Cup triumphs.
The 34-year-old flanker is, most expect, going to call it a day after the tournament but has waved away all such questions in recent months.
Immediately after
steering the All Blacks to a 34-17 win over Australia, McCaw was asked on ITV, "Do you now call it a day?"
"I still don't want it to end, to be honest," McCaw replied.
