After the first installment of our documentary series on Ireland's famous sporting grounds, SportsJOE travelled to Limerick to visit one rugby's most iconic venues for episode two of On Home Ground.
On a wet and wild day in the northside of Limerick that brought out the mystique of Thomond Park, local rugby fans and historians Frank Prendergast and Aidan Corr told us about the special days at the famous ground, and what it is about rugby that Limerick loves so much.
It's sure to get the blood pumping ahead of the visit of Clermont Auvergne on Saturday evening and even if you are from outside the province, you can't fail to be moved by the love of the game that shines through in this film.
