The Blues paid a trip to Highlanders' home patch, in Dunedin, recently and were getting caned 17-0 when they finally fought back.
A delightful cross-field chip, and a three-on-zero overlap, meant a simple try was on the cards. However, fate intervened.
The Blues recovered their wits and eventually got on the scoreboard before losing 30-24. That non-try could have come in handy.
