WATCH: Painkillers rushed to the pitch after crunching hit on Keith Earls

We're not quite sure how thoroughly Keith Earls was checked for symptoms of concussion but he was certainly desperate for a painkiller.

The Ireland wing was flattened midway through the first half of Ireland's Six Nations clash against Italy at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday afternoon. At full pace, Earls' progress was halted by the brick wall known as David Odiete and, by the looks of it, his face collided with the skull of the Italian full back.
