Ah, football fans. Nothing if not predictable.
Claudio Ranieri, as we're all aware, is no longer Leicester City manager. After guiding them to the most unlikely of Premier League triumphs nine months ago, the Italian was given the boot on Thursday night.
Since then, there's been plenty of speculation as to what prompted the club's owners to get shut of poor old Claudio. Obviously, the fact that they're facing up to the very real prospect of relegation is the main factor, but some reports went as far as saying that some of the club's playing staff played a key role in persuading the owners that he needed to go.
Over the weekend, we saw Kasper Schmeichel and Jamie Vardy attempt to play down the rumours. On Monday night, ahead of the game against Liverpool,
Leicester's vice-chairman also denied it in the match programme.
But plenty of football fans simply aren't buying it.
So, with kick off drawing close against Jurgen Klopp's side, it won't come as much of a surprise to learn that there were a few snake emojis to be seen in any Leicester-related tweets.
In fact, more or less every football fan under the sun appeared to send the exact same tweet, showing a Leicester XI made up entirely of snakes.
