Restored to the starting lineup by Jurgen Klopp after being benched at the weekend, Daniel Sturridge opened the scoring against Tottenham in the EFL Cup on Tuesday night.
Latching on to a deflected cross-cum-shot from Marko Grujic, Sturridge was able to nudge the ball home before the goalkeeper got a hand to it.

Having ended up in the net after giving his side the lead, many Liverpool supporters were quick to note that something wasn't quite right after the goal.
Sturridge, whose wriggly-armed celebration is as much a part of him as his annoying knack of developing hip and thigh injuries, opted not to bring out his trademark post-goal dance.
Liverpool supporters were concerned.

Meanwhile, Cameron suggested that it might be the case that Sturridge throwing himself into the net after the ball might actually be his new signature celebration.
