Jerseys tearing, balls exploding... all we're short is the goalposts falling apart.

Rival sporting brands will have been laughing heartily after Switzerland's Puma jerseys came apart at the seams and the Euro 2016 adidas ball punctured instantly under the studs of Valon Behrami's boots. It's a rarity in the professional game to see footballs burst and it will bring back memories of street games when all it took was a car to run over the only ball you had to bring an end to proceedings.

Luckily, Uefa are ever so slightly more organised than we were as teenagers and they just so happened to have more than one ball on the sidelines. Still, Antoine Griezmann will likely think twice before he tries to contest a 50/50 challenge with Behrami again.
