What a night to be Irish.
Jesus the boys in green did us all proud tonight. Character, integrity, unity, togetherness, bravery, courage. You name it, these lads had it and they gave it.
Ireland was one tonight, with every single eye fixed on the Cardiff City Stadium. Our players huffed and they puffed, and we urged them on with every last sinew of our bodies.
There's something beautiful about it when the whole country comes together singing the one song, for the one cause.
We do different things, we play different sports, but at the end of the day, we're all in it to bring pride to this beautiful country.
We're all on the crest of a high and beautiful wave after that one, and we can't wait for those play-offs.
Here's the best of the reactions from our sports stars.
