You don't get away with too much these days.
David Meyler stole the show on Soccer AM on Saturday morning, with his witty personality winning him many plaudits.
Meyler's Hull suffered a crushing 5-0 defeat to Derby on Friday night, their third loss of the season, which leaves them sitting in 10th position in the Championship.
The Irish man would have been forgiven for declining to appear on the show, such would have been his upset at the loss suffered by the Tigers, but the Cork midfielder is a man of his word, and he didn't want to disappoint the show and it's viewers.
It was a credit to the 28-year-old, that he didn't have a frown on his face during his appearance, and that he was on top form throughout.
Some fans criticised Meyler for his decision to join the Soccer AM crew, soon as it was after their loss, but if they knew anything about the type of leader and character he is, they wouldn't be making such accusations.
That's the way the world has gone, however, and Meyler could probably have expected such criticisms off certain supporters.

Meyler's best line of his appearance came when he was shown his ratings for the new Fifa 18 computer game which will be released at the end of the month.
The Soccer AM presenters revealed to him that his rating had taken a drop since last year, and a disgusted Meyler wasn't best pleased.
"How can I go home and look at my daughter?" he quipped.

Jonathan Walters jokingly took to Twitter to slag Meyler about his decision, and it wasn't long before James McClean jumped in on the fun too.
