Luis Figo blocked from taking part in legends game ahead of Champions League final

All it takes is a pig's head being thrown at you to take away your legend's status.

Luis Figo was due to play in a Barcelona & Juventus legends side on Friday for an exhibition game against a World All-Stars selection but he can leave his boots at home after the Catalan club asked UEFA to deny the Portuguese his place in the side.

As UEFA informs us, by request of our Club, Luis Figo will not represent Barça in the Legends match in Berlin #FCBlive

Figo was a hero for Barcelona between 1995 and 2000 before making the risky decision to jump ship and join Barca's fierce rivals Real Madrid for the next five years of his career which made him one of the most despised figures in Catalunya.
