Speaking ahead of the game, Louis van Gaal indicated that Bastian Schweinsteiger was not fit enough to start the match, leaving many United supporters expecting their side's midfield to be anchored by Marouane Fellaini.
The Belgian was expected to be suspended for the game after footage emerged of him elbowing Emre Can in the first leg.
Eventually, it was decided Fellaini would be allowed to play, much to the delight of many Liverpool supporters.
And following van Gaal's comments on the eve of the game, it appears many United fans are far from keen to see the former Everton man starting the match.
