The increased interest in Forrester has led to United chairman Darragh MacAnthony declaring the Irishman as "priceless". St Pat's parted ways with Forrester for an 'undisclosed fee' thought to be six figures.
MacAnthony took to Twitter to respond to queries about the talented midfielder. The big take-aways were his valuation of Forrester as 'way, way over' £3m and MacAnthony's opinion that his player is better than current Ireland international Jeff Hendrick.

Hendrick is also aged 23 but has already amassed 17 senior caps for Ireland.

MacAnthony also fielded a tweet that compared Forrester to 2015 Airtricity Player of the Year, and new Brighton signing, Richie Towell.
