David Beckham turned 40 on Saturday - a milestone for any man.
While most 'normal people' use such a birthday as a chance to look back at all the mistakes they've made in their life and think about what they could have achieved if they weren't such an idiot, someone like David Beckham does things differently.
He began is big 4-0 but joining Instagram giving his millions of fans another avenue from which they can bask in the reflected glory of Brand Becks.
His first pic is clearly not at all what he (or anyone else) actually looks like when they've just woken up in the morning but it's a decent stab at it nonetheless.
We give it a week until he's posting pictures of his meals and funny looking animals.
