If he gets a peek of this, he'll likely be straight on the phone to Real Madrid because it's a far cry from the classy, understated black jersey that he's currently wearing.
We will say, though, that there is a science behind the theory for goalkeepers wearing bright colours with the logic that the luminosity would distract the opposition striker.
That's what led to Petr Cech donning this striking get-up in 2008 and why legendary Mexican stopper Jorge Campos would design his own brightly coloured kits in the 1990s.
Still, we don't care about the science. This is ugly and we're praying to the Gods of football that this is all some horrible rumour.
