Vardy bested Van Nistelrooy's 10 when he scored his 11th in a row with a first-half strike against Manchester United at the King Power stadium.
Van Nistelrooy, who scored his 10th against Newcastle in 2003, took to Instagram to congratulate the young English forward and say: "
