PICS: We’ve seen leaked photos of United’s unique third jersey but the shorts are much more intriguing

It's not often that the shorts are the talking point of a new kit.

But Manchester United have managed it after leaked pictures of their third strip for the 2015/16 season emerged. We'll admit that the shirt is striking with the introduction of a more orangey (not a word but leave us off, it's Saturday) red to the design in the trademark adidas stripes and the crest. But we were most taken aback by the shorts attached to the kit which look like a throwback to gear worn in the mid 90s with a bizarre fade effect. While this is yet to be confirmed by the club, we're kind of hoping that we get to see Marouane Fellaini line out in this kit next season. H/t to FootyHeadlines
