Not much love for Rafa
He is steeped in the club's history and traditions having played at Real Madrid but it seems that Rafael Benitez is not the man most Real Madrid fans want to replace Carlo Ancelotti.
It seems certain that Ancelotti will depart at the end of the season, having failed to land a trophy this season.
Reports from Spain and Italy suggest that Benitez is in advanced talks with Florentino Perez to replace the Italian.
But in a poll in Marca asking fans who they want in charge should Ancelotti depart, Benitez came in fifth place.
Jurgen Klopp topped the poll with 44% of the vote. Former Olympiakos coach Michel was second with 14% while Seville coach Unai Emery was third with 10%, just ahead of Joachim Low.
So the Real Madrid fans have spoken? Will Florentino Perez listen?
