REPORT: Villarreal defender is set to beat Zlatan Ibrahimovic through the door at Old Trafford

Mourinho has only been in charge at Manchester United for a matter of days but he's already busy putting a squad together for his first season at Old Trafford. News broke on Friday night that Swedish superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic was set to sign for United on a one-year deal before Euro 2016 gets underway. And while Ibrahimovic may be the big-name signing that will steal all the headlines, it's a less high-profile acquirement that's set to be confirmed first. According to reports in Spain, United have already agreed a deal with La Liga side Villareal for versatile defender Eric Bailly. AS claims that the Red Devils are set to pay around €40 million for the 22-year-old Ivory Coast international who Mourinho has identified as a key cog in his team for next season.
