Having grown up in Ballyboden, there has long been speculation that Duff would pitch up, nearby, at Tallaght Stadium and play for Rovers.
Hoops boss Pat Fenlon, however, appears to have knocked back the notion that another Irish international [they already have Keith Fahey and Stephen McPhail] would be signing up.
