Well that was f**king dreadful.
There is no need for match reports when a five-word Inbetweeners quote pretty much perfectly sums up the display from England in Slovenia on Tuesday night.
Gareth Southgate watched his side notch up just the three shots on target throughout the 90 minutes, their lowest tally in a competitive game in over two years, and it really made for uninspiring viewing.
Wayne Rooney started the game on the bench (you may have read something about that) and he was called on after 73 minutes to turn the tide but, apparently, the tide was unturnable in the 0-0 draw.
Not even the introduction of Marcus Rashford could bring the required intensity to the pitch as the Slovenian scoreboard minder received an easy night's work.
But the jokes on Twitter weren't half bad, at least.
