Transfer talk: Louis van Gaal wants Anderson at the heart of United’s midfield

Whilst the infamous Brazilian, more loved at Fiorentina, just won't go away and permanently leave Manchester United, the name Anderson has long since been thrown onto the Old Trafford scrapheap, sitting proudly in distinguished company alongside Djemba Djemba, William Prunier, and Massimo Taibi.  But what if there was another way?  What if Anderson had another chance?  No, not that Anderson - wise up.  Clive Mendonca would have a better shot at United nowadays.  We're talking about a 20-year-old Benfica starlet who is ripping the Portuguese league apart at the minute.  We're talking about Anderson Talisca.  The Daily Mirror are claiming that Louis van Gaal is closing in on the attacking midfielder who has already drawn comparisons with Yaya Toure and even Rivaldo.  The bar is set for him.  Either he can follow his namesake's path to the depths of Manchester.  Or he can rise to the heady heights of below average where Liam Miller once threatened to touch.  It would still be an improvement.
