Cristiano Ronaldo was once a Premier League rival of Liverpool stalwart Steven Gerrard, but he hasn't let that cloud his admiration for their midfielder.
Real Madrid's talisman recorded a special message wishing Gerrard all the best ahead his final game in a Liverpool shirt this weekend against Stoke City.
Gerrard will end his 27-year affiliation with the Reds this summer when he heads to the MLS to play alongside Robbie Keane at LA Galaxy.
