Last night, Daley Blind had enough of United's attacking torpor and dashed forward to put them 2-1 up against Derby.

Again, the cameras went to van Gaal and the BBC pundits joked, post-match, that Blind may be in trouble for abandoning his post in the centre of United's defence.
Not so. Van Gaal explained:
"Who gives the assist. That is always important.
"[I also write about] the build-up and how we did it. I have always done that."
