VIDEO: Newcastle manage to balls up the unveiling of their kit for the 2015-16 season

Bottom of the form table, protests aplenty and arguably the least likable owner in footballing history.

So the simple task of kit design would have come as a welcome escape from the turmoil currently surrounding St James Park. Even John Carver & Co. couldn't screw that up, right? Wrong! The Magpies released a video yesterday of club captain Fabricio Coloccini displaying the new strip for the 2015-16 season, despite the uncertainty around which league the club will be lining out in come August.

The problem is that a few hours before the unveling, club sponsor Wonga revealed their new logo which is rather different from that depicted on the Newcastle shirt. A spokesperson from payday lenders Wonga blamed the "production schedule" for the whoopsie that now sees Newcastle's new kit officially out-of-date before it even goes on sale.
