Steven Gerrard has weighed in on the seemingly endless Raheem Sterling transfer saga.
Sterling has already turned down a contract offer from the Reds, and it looks like he has already made his mind up about leaving Anfield.
Gerrard explained that he hoped the young winger would choose to remain at the club and also that he makes the decision soon.
The Liverpool legend added that if Sterling does decide to end his relationship with Liverpool, he was wary that the grass might be greener for him at another club. He hinted that Sterling could fade into obscurity if he chose to exit, rather than to stay and develop his game at Anfield.
