South Africa scored an absolutely beautiful long range volley today
The Bafana Bafana went one-nil up against Ghana courtesy of a moment of pure magic from Mandla Masango. The Kaizer Chiefs midfielder rocketed in a volley from range which looped over the Ghana keeper and went crashing into the roof of the net.
A poor defensive header fell awkwardly to Masango, who had to backtrack to catch it on his instep. He showed superhuman balance to wind-up and blast the ball over Brimah Razak between the sticks, who's acrobatic effort to make the save proved to be in vain.
This absolute belter could well claim the goal of the tournament accolade.
