WATCH: If Wes Hoolahan isn’t careful he’ll be back in the Premier League

Wes Hoolahan has picked up right where he wonderfully left off at Euro 2016. The Irish midfielder was the beating heart of Norwich City, last night, as they climbed to second in the Championship after defeating Bristol City 1-0. Hoolahan set up Scott Howson for the Canaries' winner and had the ball on a virtual string for most of the night. Hoolahan kept City ticking over all evening and was only denied a second, for his side, when Richard O'Donnell excellently tipped his late off onto the post. Post-match, City boss Alex Neil positively gushed about the 34-year-old's performance. He told the BBC:

"From a technical and vision point of view I think Wes is as good as you'll get in the Championship. He is a key player for us in and around the box and also works hard on the defensive side of his game too. "He just seems to get better and better with age and long may that continue."
