In a tournament where away goals can be so very vital, Liverpool fans will be cursing the talents of Roman Weidenfeller.
The Borussia Dortmund goalkeeper was beaten by a deflected strike towards the end of the first half of their Europa League quarter-final first leg at home to the Reds.
But after that, he shut up shop and decided he was sick of that conceding nonsense.
Weidenfeller put on a goalkeeping performance of a lifetime in the second half as he came up with a trio of saves in the second half.
First, the German stopper got down preposterously well to a low, powerful drive from Philippe Coutinho.
And after a sequence of Liverpool pressure, Weidenfeller first denied a long-range strike from Nathaniel Clyne that looked to be destined for the bottom corner but was pushed out of the six-yard box.
The ball arrived to Coutinho once more but he could only fire it directly at Weidenfeller who stayed big and kept the game at 1-1.
