West Ham’s official Twitter account has a field day with Mark Lawrenson’s pre-season predictions

West Ham may be tempting fate.

Whoever runs the Hammers' Twitter account has called out BBC Sport's Mark Lawrenson for the Premier League prediction he made before a ball was kicked this season. Former Republic of Ireland international Lawrenson expected West Ham to finish in the last relegation place by the end of the season so will be surprised at the stellar start to the season that Slaven Bilic's men have enjoyed. West Ham are currently camped in third place of the Premier League, having claimed the scalps of Chelsea, Manchester City, Liverpool and Arsenal in their first ten games.
