Zlatan, who this week was banned for three games for elbowing Tyrone Mings, has scored 26 goals for Jose Mourinho's side this season after signing a 12-month contract last summer.
There is an option to extend that by a further 12 months, but Zlatan may well feel that the humungous offer, plus the lifestyle on offer in California, may be a better option for him to see out his nomadic career.
Last month, the Swede was asked about extending his stay at Old Trafford beyond this season. He replied:
"The [extension] option is already fulfilled. But there’s nothing done yet. From my side. We’ll wait and see. Let’s see what happens."One expects Ibrahimovic is not done in England yet but United may yet be forced to improve the terms of his current deal to keep him on.
