Dublin footballer Diarmuid Connolly has decided against appealing the 12-week ban which was given to him by the Central Hearings Committee (CHC) on Wednesday.
Connolly was initially handed a 12-week ban by the Central Competitions Control Committee (CCCC) after he pushed linesman Ciarán Branagan during Dublin's Leinster quarter-final win over Carlow in Portlaoise.
His charge was classed as "minor physical interference" with a match official.
