The Irish News newspaper is reporting that Diarmuid Connolly will appeal against his 12-week ban.
It had been reported last week that Connolly had accepted his 12-week ban,
imposed by the Central Controls and Competition Committee (CCCC).
However, the latest developments, as reported by The Irish News, suggest that the Dublin forward has launched an appeal against his ban.
"The Irish News understands that an appeal has now been launched against the ban and the Central Hearings Committee are likely to hear it in the coming days."

The 12-week ban would mean that the reigning All-Ireland champions would be without the St Vincent's man until the All-Ireland semi-finals at the earliest, should Dublin progress as Leinster champions.
