Only a month on and we're planning for next year already.
It does seem a bit bizarre that we're planning for the provincial series of next year's Championship already, but that's the way the system is and there's not much point in complaining.
Next year there will be huge changes in both hurling and football.
The Super 8 has been brought into replace the quarter-final series of the All-Ireland football, while the provincial Championships in hurling are now in a round-robin set-up.
The draws were made and the Connacht quarter final clash between Mayo and Galway is the one that really caught our eye.
Galway have beaten Mayo in Connacht for the last two years now, so they will be eager to avenge those defeats, just like the Tribesmen will be to imrpove from a very disappointing year.
That will be a cracker.

Leinster:
The Leinster Football Championship will see the winners of Offaly Vs. Wicklow face off against All-Ireland champions Dublin in the quarter-finals.

Ulster:
Donegal and Cavan got the short straw in Ulster, as they will face off against each other in the preliminary quarter finals, and that sets them up for a treacherous Championship.
Tyrone and Monaghan should be a titanic battle in the quarter-finals.

Munster:
Cork and Kerry have been separated in Munster.

There was no draw for the hurling because of the new round-robin set-up, and here's how that will work.
