The Kerry and Donegal county boards have been fined €7,500 each for the violent affair which saw more than one clash over the 70 minutes.
Donegal full back Neil McGee has also been singled out for punishment and has been hit with a one match ban by the CCCC which will see him miss this weekend’s home tie with Roscommon, pending a possible appeal from the player.
McGee appeared to attempt to injure the fingers of Alan Fitzgerald who then lashed out and was handed his marching orders. But McGee's role in the sending off has been penalised retrospectively and failing an appeal, he won't be in action this weekend.McGee tried to break Alan Fitz's fingers, he struck in self defence #gaa #kerry @pgal10 pic.twitter.com/HuDglpyfce
